Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba in partnership with Assiniboine Rhythmic Gymnastics Organization is pleased to invite all Provincial Stream Levels and all National Stream group and individual athletes to take part in Elite Manitoba 2011. This competition will serve as the qualification meet for Western Regional Championships, which takes place in Edmonton, AB, April 27 – May 1, 2011
In preparation for this event, we are requesting donated items that will assist us in offsetting some of the costs in organizing this event. Items, which can be placed in silent auction baskets and used for the event fundraising purposes. We are also in search of items, which can be placed in accreditation bags that will be presented to each competing gymnast. Donations provided to each bag allow the gymnasts to leave the competition with keepsakes and fond memories.
Whether it is through an item donated for the event, silent auction or for items placed in the accreditation bags, this opportunity provides a forum for local businesses to advertise and promote their products and/or services. Any donations are most appreciated and will be acknowledged during the event in our souvenir program, along with periodic announcements made throughout the competition. In addition, you will have the satisfaction of knowing you have supported the youth involved with rhythmic gymnastics in Winnipeg as well as the other provinces.
The 2011 Elite Manitoba Qualification Meet will run from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on Friday February 18 and 8:30 am – 7:00 pm on Saturday February 19, at Technical Vocational High School, 1555 Wall Street. Over 60 Manitoba female athletes Provincial & National Stream will participate in the event showcasing the beauty, grace, flexibility and dedication of the athletes from the 7-year-old Pre-Novice to the 20-year-old senior gymnasts in their pursuit of excellence in the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
