TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION
Coaching is the backbone of any sport. It is no different when rhythmic gymnastics is concerned. Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba in partnership with Coaching Manitoba provide training opportunities for coaches. Those opportunities are directed at the first time coach to the coach of the national team. Rhythmic Gymnastics Manitoba can help you acquire the knowledge necessary to become a coach. We accomplish that through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
When it was originally developed the NCCP was designed around five “levels” of certification. Level 1 to 3 were for coaches working with community, club and high school athletes. Level 4 and 5 were designed for coaches working with high performance athletes and for those interested in career coaching. Read more about the NCCP program, the changes and how they affect you. Check out the new NCCP information on the Coaching Manitoba website.
How does the new NCCP compare with the old NCCP for rhythmic gymnastics? Where do I start? Review the following document published by Gymnastics Canada to get the answers.
